Fundraise for Spires
Fundraising for Spires helps us continue to deliver our valuable work for the homeless and disadvantaged. Whether this be a small event in your community, school or workplace, or taking part in a fundraising challenge, we value any efforts in fundraising for Spires. You can organise this yourselves, or you can get in touch with Spires for any help and ideas.
Ways you can fundraise
challenge yourself
If you want to set yourself a challenge, and need a great cause to motivate you, then you can fundraise for Spires. You can complete challenges around your interests such as running, cycling, swimming, or perhaps something a little different, it’s completely up to you.
HOST A COMMUNITY EVENT
We often rely on the generous support from local communities. There are some fun ways in which you can fundraise in your community, whether this be a cake sale or quiz night, we would hugely welcome any efforts from our community to raise money that will help fund our services.
ORGANISE A FUNDRAISER AT WORK
Fundraising as a team is always a fun way to raise money and would be a rewarding experience as a team outside the usual work environment. You can take part in group challenges or organise a group event to raise money and play a massive role in supporting our work.
How your fundraising will help
In response to increasing demand, money raised through fundraising has become more essential for providing high-quality support to those in need. Your fundraising efforts helps provide stability to Spires, ensuring we can keep all drop-in sites fully operational following our expansion across south London.
While we rely on grants from Trusts and Foundations, they are not always assured, so fundraising plays a vital role. Contributions from fundraising significantly aid our support for those facing homelessness. Moreover, the awareness and engagement from individuals or groups enhance our efforts to assist the homeless in London.
Your fundraising can significantly impact many lives. Start planning your fundraising or contact Spires by emailing our Communications Officer Charles at charles@spires.org.uk.
