“If you believe all human beings deserve a change in life, you believe in everything Spires stands for.”
We work with organisations across the UK to create partnerships that are mutually beneficial, and that deliver real change for people experiencing homelessness and disadvantage.
Whether through a grant, staff fundraising, gifts-in-kind or cause-related marketing, we work together to create change.
The Big Lottery funds our award-winning Streetlink outreach project. The project works with individuals who are engaged in street-based sex work to keep them safe and encourage them to visit our centre where they can receive further help around a variety of support needs.
In 2016, Comic Relief awarded us a three year grant to pilot a new project supporting Indoor sex workers.
The Stavros Niarchos Foundation supports our Rough Sleeper’s project. This is our biggest project and the need for these services is continuing to grow.
The Lloyd’s Foundation funds our Volunteer program – a program that allows service users and people who are long-term unemployed to gain work skills and experience.
The White Stuff Foundation chose Spires as its charity partner for a three year partnership. In 2017, a team for White Stuff took part in our first annual Spires Sleep Out.
In 2017, Thomas’s Clapham chose Spires as their Charity of the Year. The staff, students and PTA have organised a number of fundraising events and drives for gifts in kind.
